Seven Stars Tattoo opened in Henderson Center, Eureka, CA in late 2016. After 13 years of tattooing in traditional street shops, owner Stacey Keilitz decided to offer clients a different atmosphere in which to get tattooed, in a private setting with an emphasis on customer service, kindness and comfort.

Every artist at Seven Stars is dedicated to the same core goal: to give our clients a solid, long-lasting tattoo in a comfortable setting. We are not here to look down on you because you don’t have a lot of tattoos, we are not here to tell you your idea is stupid, and we are not here to “change your mind” so we get to tattoo the designs we prefer. Your body is YOURS to adorn how you please, your tattoo is yours and yours alone to wear forever. We are here as professionals to listen to your ideas, treat you with respect, and give you a solid tattoo that will last a lifetime along with a pleasant, stress-free experience while in our shop. We hear far too often from clients who were pressured into tattoos they now hate, or were told their idea is stupid, or were bullied into or out of their original ideas. We won’t tattoo everything, of course, but we will be honest with you about what works and doesn’t work in a tattoo. If we are unable to meet your tattoo needs we will clearly explain why, and we will gladly direct to you other great tattooers in our area who might be a better fit for you.

Although we all have personal preferences, none of our artists “specialize” in a specific style of tattoo; with almost 40 years combined experience in tattooing, we know the truth in the old saying “a jack of all trades, master of none, is oftentimes better than master of one”. We are proud of the many years of hard work we’ve put into becoming well-rounded artists with experience in almost all styles of tattoo. As already stated, our goal is to provide the best version of whatever it is you want. Tell us the style you like, the subject matter, and where you want it and we will do our very best to make your dreams reality.

Just like the majority of our clients, we are normal working-class people who come from normal working-class backgrounds, and we understand the daily financial struggle to keep up with everything in a crappy economy. We are truly honored you want to spend some of your hard-earned money getting tattooed by us! We are not here to take advantage of you with insanely overpriced shop minimums; a small tattoo that takes 10 minutes should never cost hundreds! While each tattoo artist at Seven Stars sets their own individual pricing and hourly rates, at the end of the day we are all here to tattoo and we are committed to discussing pricing with you in an open and transparent way. If you have a set budget, please let us know during your consultation appointment, and we will do everything possible to work with you so that you are happy with both your tattoo AND its cost.

At Seven Stars, our artists draw all art by hand, sometimes on paper and sometimes digitally, using our own artistic brains and skills - which means we DO NOT and WILL NOT ever use AI programs to create your tattoo for you. We stand united with other hard-working creative artists against the intrusion of AI-generated “art” into our field and we are committed to keeping up with the long tradition of personally creating the art for the tattoos we make.

Our tattoo knowledge comes from years of mentoring and learning under other experienced tattooers. We are so grateful to each and every tattooer we’ve worked under and alongside, who have taken time to share their knowledge, history and traditions with us and who have helped mold us into the successful tattoo artists we are today. We would not be here without them and without the long lineage of men and women who forged paths in the tattoo world long before us, in tougher times when tattooing was not the popular fine art it has become today. We truly stand on the shoulders of these giants, and here at Seven Stars Tattoo we do our best to honor and respect their history and lineage in every tattoo we do.
